Yes, Excellent quality and materials built to US Standards. I know that the materials are suitable for food service for my family.

Yep. But I'm not sure Corelle is a US company, anymore. Box says 'Made in USA'. I love these pasta plates, use them almost daily. The pasta plates will hold a full can of Campbell's Chunky Soup to the brim. The serving bowl will hold at least twice as much. Think of a salad bowl you'd serve to four or six who love salad. Size is 2 qts.

I believe it is. I think Corning Glass Company makes Corelle. I don't know for sure, but years ago it was all made in Corning, New York, but this information might have changed since then.

The large serving bowl is 10-3/8" from rim to rim, and it is 3" deep. The smaller bowls are 8-1/2" from rim to rim, and are 1-1/2" deep.

The largest bowl is a 4 quart bowl. The other four are the same size and are 20 ounce bowls.

the small  bowls are a coupe shape , no rim. top edge is 8 1/2 in diameter, 1 1/2 in deep and the bottom is 6 in diameter. holds 20 0z . big bowl holds 2 qts

The big serving bowl is 10&quot; in diameter and 3&quot; in height. The pasta dishes are 8.5&quot; in diameter, and 1.5&quot; in height.

Description of the smaller bowls I read in Walmart.com said 20 ounces, which is accurate; just a bit bigger than the size of a Chunky soup can's contents. Fits well.

The large bowl is 2QT, the sum of the four. So four Chunky soup cans. Great for soup or stew, not merely pasta. But, that's a LOT of pasta.

The four bowls are shallow, about 1.5" high. The 2 QT is about 3" high. Base of the bowls, is 5.5" - 6" (5.5 flat, 6" including bottommost slope). See my review, just posted.

Large bowl easily holds one pound of pasta and maybe even a 1/4 lb more.

Smaller bowls easily hold a 1/4-lb pasta portion. Also great for risotto and soup.

I ordered this set, based on the photo, thinking the pasta bowls would be about 32oz, however, when they arrived the bowls were about 16oz.

Had 1qt bowl for vegetables, the big bowl is 2qts holds a lot of pasta. The individual bowls are like a large plate with high lipped sides that would hold pasta, salad, stew, popcorn or just about anything foods.  For just us two, they are perfect for sitting in bed and watching a movie enjoying couple time.

Great Corelle quality. Bowls are perfect size for pasta. Serving bowl is great for a pound of pasta.

Perfect-sized pasta bowls!

I half-expected to dislike this set, when ordering site-to-store. But fell in love. Here's why:

1. Sizes. The four pasta bowls are just like those wonderful shallow soup bowls which used to be common in restaurants like Delmonico's: each one will hold a full Chunky-sized can of soup. Elegantly. The serving bowl is the sum of the four. So it's easy to gauge, for cooking. Can't wait to make black bean soup (which was a specialty at Delmonico's). So it's not just for pasta.

2. Usage: in the microwave, then, any of the shallow bowls makes a good top for the big one, in lieu of other covers people use, like plastic or paper. (Topping microwaveables with other microwave safe dishes has always been my preference. No mess, better results, easy second 'top' for other things to serve, already warmed.)

3. Shape: bowls are somewhat slanted, not straight-sided. Easier to eat/serve from.

4. Color: I didn't expect to like this dazzling white style, but it's just wonderful. Goes with whatever other dishware you have, will enliven even an eclectic collection; will enliven your food, too. Classic, simple. Think of newly-fallen light snow. Very cheerful.

Now comes the punchline. It's sturdy. I'm clumsy, and drop things often. So I grew up on Melmac, and when an adult vowed never to eat off plastic again, so shifted to stoneware. Because, I thought it would be hard to break. And it has been. But steered clear of Corelle, thinking I'd break it. So delicate, light -- yeah? And when I got a Corelle bowl at a thrift shop three years ago, I marvelled at its superior handling; and, didn't break it till yet.

The bowls 'ping' like fine china. :)

Yeah. Now five more of those gorgeous bowls. Best way to microwave. Three-year warranty against breakage. Doesn't say if you can put it in the oven. Obviously you'd never want to put it on the stovetop.

Gonna get some more of these. They come in designs, too. :)

Surprisingly gorgeous

I am replacing all my big old heavy white porcelain dishes. These all white Corelle dishes still look nice, but are light weight without being melamine or "plastic", and they can safely be used in the microwave. As we get older (elderly), we do not want to be handling heavy dishes anymore. We just need a few routinely-used pieces to get us through a day of eating a few small meals. These are perfect for that. They don't take up as much room in the cupboard or the dishwasher either. When I was young, I thought Corelle looked cheesy and felt cheap, but now I appreciate it for the value it really is. It's also good that I can just pick and choose the pieces that we want and need in any quantity. It feels wonderful to downsize.

Nice looking and light weight

These made in the USA plates are pretty, chip resistant and posses the Corelle quality you expect. They are on the larger side, so if you really follow food portions they are extremely big for a serving of pasta.
Shipping was fast and nothing was broken when the box arrived.

Great quality for the price

True to the value of Corelle, this is a wonderful set. I have had some of my Corelle dish sets over 15 years and expect my new Pasta Set to be used for many yrs to come. Great price too.

Wonderful set!

I've always liked to use Corelle from Corning which lasts forever, and is safe to use in everything, including microwave and dishwasher.  The serving bowl and pasta dishes  are just the right size that I need.  This is the best deal (in terms of price) from walmart that I can find anywhere.

Great product

I was buying dishes for our new kitchen. I love these as the price is great so I bought about twice what I thought I needed There are always enough settings. light and easy to clean and really looks classy but if one gets broken no big deal.

Excellent value works with any decor

I purchased this set because the bowls that are included with my dinnerware set are a bit small for serving salads, pastas, & other bulky foods. The large serving bowl holds plenty of food; I also like the lower sides on the individual bowls. The white color goes with everything. The set arrived packed in the original Corelle box, but as other reviewers have said, there was a slight greasy film on the dishes. It did, however, wash off easily in the dishwasher. I'm very pleased with all aspects of this set.

Just what I expected

and the smaller bowls can be used as salad plates (bowls) quite well. My 4 year old grandson cannot make them fly so easy as regular salad plates. And they are large enough to put a sandwich in..

The Corelle livingware was recommended by our daughter , and it is so beautiful and easy to handle and clean ,dishwasher safe , and very practical foe every day use , my wife loves it.
